Job summary

DAVIS Construction seeks a Project Manager to support daily construction activities and steer projects from start to finish in Charlotte. You will help manage safety, quality, cost control, scheduling, and contracts while coordinating with owners, design teams, and trade partners.

Ideal candidates bring a four-year construction background, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills, with experience in LEED or sustainable building projects preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent construction experience.
• General contracting experience and strong PM skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and lead junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project schedules with trade partners and suppliers.
• Lead project meetings with owners, design teams, and trades.
• Enforce safety programs and develop site-specific safety plans.
• Coordinate submittals, RFIs, changes, and closeout processes.
• Oversee financial forecasting, invoicing, and budget management.
• Maintain contract documents and as-builts with updates.
