Job summary

James G. Davis Construction Corp. is seeking a Project Manager to oversee construction projects, ensuring timely and budget-friendly completion. The successful candidate will manage project teams, assist with safety, quality control, and various technical tasks. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 4 years of construction experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four (4) years previous construction experience.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and learn technical systems and processes.
• Sustainable building experience (such as LEED certified projects) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage one or more projects at various stages of construction.
• Assist with safety management, quality, cost management, contracting, scheduling, estimating, and bidding.
• Participate in project audits and post‑completion reviews.

Skills

General Contracting experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Project management and scheduling software experience

Ability to effectively manage and lead junior team members

Knowledge of principles and practices of engineering

Ability to organize, assess, and prioritize tasks

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field

Certifications/accreditations (CPR / First Aid, OSHA 30‑hour, WELL, ILFI, LEED)
