Job summary

EquipmentShare in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Construction Project Manager to own site selection, entitlements, design coordination, budgeting, and pre-construction oversight for industrial and commercial projects. You will lead negotiations, coordinate with architects and contractors, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery across multiple sites.

You’ll manage bid processes, review plans with engineers, monitor progress, and live in a hands-on role on job sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• Proven track record in construction management and site acquisition.
• Experience with industrial/commercial projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Source and secure development sites aligned with strategy.
• Conduct feasibility, zoning, environmental risk assessments.
• Collaborate with local ops to draft site plans with civil engineers.
• Negotiate PSAs and leases with legal support.
• Maintain deal summaries and acquisition reports for leadership.
• Lead entitlement process including rezoning, permits, variances.
• Liaise with municipalities, utilities, DOT, and agencies.
• Attend pre-application meetings and coordinate stakeholders.
• Oversee design coordination and bid processes; manage docs.
• Review construction documents and ensure regulatory alignment.
• Develop budgets, forecast costs, manage contingencies.
• Monitor progress, conduct weekly meetings, report milestones.
• Hands-on site oversight and vendor coordination.
