Job summary

Chesapeake Contracting Group is seeking a Project Manager to develop, coordinate, implement, and manage all activities to construct projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality. You will direct project teams, provide leadership, schedule meetings, maintain records, and supervise project closeout.

The role collaborates with the Site Superintendent or Senior Project Manager to lead the construction effort and reports to a Senior Project Manager or Project Executive.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, implement and manage all activities necessary to construct the project safely, within schedule and budget, and to required quality.
• Direct project teams, provide administrative and technical leadership, schedule/lead meetings, maintain records and supervise closeout.
• Partner with Site Superintendent or Senior Project Manager to lead the construction project and report to Senior Project Manager or Project Executive.
• Participate in preconstruction activities, review drawings, prepare RFIs and develop cost-effective solutions.
• Collaborate on budgets with Estimating, oversee subcontractor estimates and budget tracking, and monitor scope changes.
• Oversee procurement, subcontractor commitments, Procore setup, and monthly owner billings.
