Job summary

James G. Davis Construction Corporation in Rockville, MD seeks a Project Manager to support daily management and execution of construction, overseeing multiple projects, coordinating with owners, design teams, and trade partners.

Responsibilities include safety management, scheduling, cost control, subcontract management, and closeout; establishing safety plans and tracking RFIs/submittals to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent construction experience
• General contracting experience
• Minimum of four (4) years construction experience
• Knowledge of PM and scheduling practices
• Sustainable building experience (LEED)
• Certifications / accreditations preferred (CPR/First Aid, OSHA 30-hour, WELL, ILFI, LEED)

Responsibilities

• Assist with safety management and safety plans
• Develop and maintain project schedules
• Lead project meetings with owners, design team, and trade partners
• Enforce the DAVIS Safety program and safety plans
• Manage trade partner submittals, RFIs, change orders, and schedules
• Prepare monthly project owner invoicing and budget management
