Job summary

Speedwell Construction seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction to closeout. You will manage schedules, budgets, contracts, change orders, and documentation while partnering with field teams to keep projects on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of construction experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency with construction software such as MS Project, Bluebeam, Viewpoint, or Revit.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of construction experience.
• Experience reading construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Ability to manage multiple commercial projects simultaneously.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with construction software and Microsoft Office; Microsoft Project experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Manage budgets, schedules, contracts, change orders, and project documentation.
• Partner with Superintendents, Project Engineers, and Project Coordinators to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Build strong relationships with owners, architects, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency while maintaining quality and safety.
• Participate in project handoff, startup, and closeout meetings.
• Champion Speedwell’s commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
