Job summary
Scorpio is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to lead complex commercial projects from preconstruction to warranty in Gainesville, FL. You will partner with owners, architects, and engineers to deliver on-time, on-budget results while upholding safety and quality standards.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field and 5+ years of PM experience with Procore or Bluebeam.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of construction project management experience in commercial construction.
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar software.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain the Scorpio client experience from preconstruction through warranty.
- Be the primary point of contact between the owner and Scorpio.
- Update and track project costs.
- Identify and mitigate project risks.
- Conduct Owner/Architect/Engineer meetings.
- Process change events and associated change orders.
- Review and approve subcontractor pay apps and field invoices.
- Assist superintendent with site logistics and management.
