Job summary

MacBracey is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and adherence to contract documents. You will serve as the primary client liaison and coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years experience in related field
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Compliance with drug testing program
• Ability to pass child abuse, FBI, and state police background checks

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of commercial construction projects from initiation to completion
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and cost controls
• Create, review, and execute subcontracts and purchase orders
• Communicate project progress, risks, and milestones with clients and senior leadership
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, owners, suppliers, field staff, and subcontractors
• Lead project meetings and maintain detailed project documentation
• Create, review and approve submittals, RFIs, change orders, and pay applications
• Monitor job cost reports and forecast project financial performance
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company policies
• Collaborate with the project superintendent to ensure site operations align with project goals
• Requires regular and prompt attendance plus the ability to work well with others and work well as a team
• Attend regular internal meetings for scheduling and project progress updates.
