Job summary

Mortenson seeks a seasoned Project Manager - OFE Manager to lead construction projects from design to completion, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget alignment. You will prepare proposals, support negotiations, and manage financials including billing and cost control while mentoring project teams on safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in construction-related field.
• At least 7 years of construction management on large-scale projects ($20M+).
• Strong financial acumen with budgeting/forecasting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Knowledge of construction law and contract management.
• Excellent communication, leadership and customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel overnight up to 100%.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution from design through completion, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget.
• Prepare proposals, support pursuit presentations, and participate in contract negotiations.
• Develop and maintain accurate project financials including projections, billing, and cost control.
• Allocate project estimates into financial systems and manage cost codes and invoicing.
• Oversee subcontractor and supplier selection, contract buyouts, and billing.
• Mentor Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers with feedback and development.
• Serve as primary client and on-site liaison to resolve concerns and build relationships.
• Manage change orders and ensure timely submission/approval.
• Ensure compliance with Mortenson’s safety, quality, and risk management standards.
