Job summary

ARCO is seeking a motivated Project Manager Intern to support our team in estimating, scheduling, design coordination, and procurement. The role offers hands-on exposure to permit processes, shop drawing reviews, and on-site visits with the project management team.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in an accredited Civil/Mechanical/Architectural or Construction Management bachelor's program with a minimum 3.0 GPA and prior internship experience, plus strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Civil/Mechanical/Architectural or Construction Management Bachelor's degree program
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0
• Previous Internship or Co-op construction experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Estimating project proposals and assigning dollar values to projects
• Creating a working timeline for subcontractors/trades to complete the project on time
• Attend design meetings with owner and team to understand design proposals
• Send bid instructions, schedule, and drawings to subcontractors and evaluate proposals
• Fill out permit forms and submit with drawings and fees for approvals
• Review shop drawings and submittals with PM and coordinate material orders
• Assist with subcontracts, change orders, pay requests, and pay applications
• Visit job sites with PM to ensure project is running smoothly
