Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Project Manager 2 in Charlotte to lead moderately complex projects and oversee project operations from preconstruction to closeout. You will drive schedules, budgets and risk management while coordinating with owners, design teams, subcontractors and vendors.

The role requires strong leadership, a safety-first mindset and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders. Travel and non-traditional hours may be required depending on project needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 7+ years construction management experience.
• Proficient in project management and accounting software; strong scheduling skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and mentor staff to maintain a safe project environment.
• Coordinate preconstruction activities including scope development and bid processes.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets and procurement logs.
• Review submittals, bids and change requests; ensure timely owner/architect approvals.
• Manage relationships with subcontractors, owner, design team and vendors.
