Job summary

Mortenson is seeking a Project Manager I/II to lead project quality, timeliness and safety while mentoring the team. The role focuses on developing customer relationships through excellent service and managing budgets and subcontractors.

The base pay ranges for PM1 and PM2 are disclosed, with additional incentive opportunities. This position may involve travel up to 100% and requires strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
• Current driver’s license and ability to travel up to 100%.
• Detail oriented with multi-tasking capabilities and strong communication.
• Understanding of construction law and business practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project-related web applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial health of projects including subcontracts and suppliers.
• Develop and maintain project financial projections and allocate estimates.
• Approve invoices and provide financials to Accounting for payment.
• Lead/Manage project team and facilitate career development.
• Manage change orders and maintain schedule and budget.
• Serve as main owner contact and resolve site issues.
