Job summary

Air Systems is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead HVAC, plumbing, architectural sheet metal, and process piping construction projects across commercial and industrial environments in the San Jose market.

You will oversee projects from preconstruction to closeout, coordinating with field teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure safe, high-quality, on‑time, and on‑budget delivery.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of experience in commercial/industrial construction projects.
• Technical knowledge of HVAC sheet metal, hydronic piping, refrigerant piping, and equipment.
• BS in Engineering or Construction Management, or relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; project accounting software a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, collaboration and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in remote field offices and manage multiple projects.
• Experience with large infrastructure projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercial and/or industrial projects from kickoff through closeout.
• Serve as primary client contact, building relationships through proactive communication.
• Translate scope, schedules, and requirements into field direction.
• Develop and manage project financials, including labor budgets and cost tracking.
• Coordinate procurement and equipment planning to align materials, labor, and schedules.
• Participate in monthly financial forecasting and project reviews.
• Mentor project engineers and staff, fostering accountability.
• Identify and mitigate project risks; resolve schedule or cost challenges.
• Maintain project documentation per standards and regulatory obligations.
• Uphold safety and quality standards on every project and jobsite.
