Job summary

Reeves Young is seeking a construction project professional to oversee financials and coordinate across engineers, architects, subcontractors, and vendors. The role requires managing time, cost, and quality of multiple construction projects on a live site, with emphasis on planning and preconstruction collaboration.

The ideal candidate will supervise field staff, monitor project progress, enforce safety, and adapt to evolving project needs with proficiency in industry software tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and understand the overall financial status throughout the duration of a project including: subcontract status, vendor status, labor/payroll, small tools, construction equipment, forming materials and systems, miscellaneous materials and project overhead.
• Plan and coordinate all aspects of the construction process including hiring subcontractors and working with engineers, architects and vendors.
• Control the time, cost and quality of construction projects.
• Plan and coordinate an effective preconstruction meeting with Field Supervision and Preconstruction.
• Supervises assistant managers and superintendents, reviews their reports, checks on any reported difficulties, and corrects any safety violations or other reported deficiencies.
• Must possess working knowledge of or demonstrates a willingness to learn how to use the following software applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, Bluebeam, Procore, MS Project, Viewpoint, and Raken.
