Job summary

Reeves Young in Georgia is seeking an on-site Construction Project Manager to oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring schedule, safety, and quality standards are met. You will coordinate with engineers, architects and subcontractors to drive project success.

The role requires 5–7 years of on-site PM experience on large automotive, manufacturing, data center, or heavy industrial projects and proficiency in takeoffs, scheduling, and project software tools.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of on-site Project Management experience on large construction projects.
• Ability to complete accurate and timely takeoffs of project plans for procurement.
• Strong coordination of scheduling, trades, and subcontractors to maintain project timelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects from start to finish in line with contract requirements.
• Train and develop Assistant Project Managers and support Senior Project Manager.
• Conduct pre-job meetings with Subcontractors addressing schedule, quality, safety and phasing/coordination.
• Plan and coordinate all aspects of the construction process with subcontractors, engineers, architects and vendors.
• Resolve scheduling issues due to weather, emergencies, or delays with corrective action plans.

What Can You Expect

• Responsible for management of construction projects from beginning to end in accordance and maintaining the requirements of the "high fives".
• Train and develop Assistant Project Managers and support the Senior Project Manager.
• Conduct effective pre-job meetings with all Subcontractors addressing schedule, quality, safety and phasing/coordination between trades.
• Plan and coordinate all aspects of the construction process including hiring subcontractors and working with engineers, architects and vendors.
• Resolve scheduling issues that arise due to inclement weather, emergencies or other causes for delays. This includes creating and enforcing corrective action plans required to keep project on schedule.

What You Bring to the Table

• Review and understand complete project scope of work based on contract requirements including: drawings, specifications, estimates, schedules and applicable building codes.
• Must be able to monitor and understand the overall financial status throughout the duration of a project including: subcontract status, vendor status, labor/payroll, small tools, construction equipment, forming materials and systems, miscellaneous materials and project overhead.
• Experience & Project Types:Automotive manufacturing, Food & beverage / freezer / cooler heavy distribution projects valued at $50M+, Data centers (65MW or larger), Heavy manufacturing (injection molding, pressing operations, lumber processing, steel manufacturing), & power plants.
• 5–7 years of on-site Project Management experience, preferably on one or more of the above project types.
• Must have the ability to complete accurate and timely takeoffs of project plans to ensure correct scopes of work are procured.
• Must possess working knowledge of or demonstrate willingness to learn how to use the following software applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, Bluebeam, Procore/Project Sight, P6 Primavera, MS Project, Viewpoint, Viewpoint Field Work Center, and HCSS.
