Job summary

ARCO is seeking a Project Manager to lead construction projects from inception to completion, estimating, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, scheduling, budgeting, design review, and execution. You will collaborate with owners and the design team to develop concepts and drive project success.

Required are 3–5 years of construction experience with a general contractor and a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field; estimating experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of construction experience running projects with a general contractor.
• Estimating experience preferred but not required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managerial aspects of a project including estimating, proposal preparation, contract negotiations, scheduling, budgeting, design review, and execution
• Work closely with owners and design team to develop preliminary concept drawings
• Participate in proposal meeting with owner to review the scope of work and provide value engineering ideas
• Oversee the buyout process and selection of subcontractors
• Conduct biweekly jobsite meetings
• Partner with Superintendent to ensure safety, quality control, and schedule
• Make sound decisions under tight deadlines
