Job summary

Harper General Contractors is seeking a Project Manager in Columbia, SC to lead projects from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating Owner, Engineer, Architect, and trade partners to keep schedules, budgets, and quality on track.

You will develop schedules, manage submittals, RFIs, and approvals, and emphasize safety with the Superintendent. Travel to multiple sites is expected as projects advance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for the Owner, Engineer, and Architect.
• Oversee the project to make all critical project decisions.
• Produce, collect and process all pay applications and invoices for the project, for trade partners, vendors and Owners.
• Ensure the creation, approval, and management of owner contracts, subcontracts, POs, and FSAs.
• Develop and manage project QAQC and lead the coordination of trade partner scopes of work.
• Develop and implement working relationship with Safety Manager.
• Project reporting including owner monthly reports and monthly cost status reports.
