Job summary

Catamount is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the financial success of the building process, coordinating with Architects, Engineers, and Owners to support development plans. You will identify and plan moving parts and ensure projects finish within budget and scope.

Responsibilities include maintaining contract understanding, documenting updates, negotiating purchasing plans, and supporting the Superintendent to keep the schedule on track. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills including listening, presenting, and writing.
• Advanced mathematical and reasoning ability.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience with a General Contractor.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Sciences or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a strong understanding of the contract from project onset.
• Document updates and changes throughout construction to keep logs current.
• Lead purchasing plan decisions and approve subcontractor buys and change orders.
• Support the Superintendent in maintaining the project schedule and actions to improve timing.
• Foster relationships with project owner, architect, and contractors; respond with urgency.
