Job summary

Catamount Constructors seeks a Project Manager to oversee the financial success of the building process. You will partner with Architects, Engineers, and Owners to ensure projects are completed on budget and within scope.

You will document progress, manage logs, and lead negotiations and purchasing plans. You will support the Superintendent, coordinate meetings, and ensure changes align with contract documents while maintaining strong owner relationships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience with a General Contractor.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Sciences or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Procore.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple logs and documents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a strong understanding of the contract from project onset.
• Document project updates and maintain logs; record changes as needed.
• Lead purchasing plan, negotiate, and make timely buyout decisions.
• Support the Superintendent to maintain the project schedule and update monthly schedule.
• Facilitate Owner, Architect, and Contractor meetings; prepare agendas and minutes.
• Submit owner pay applications accurately and on time.
• Maintain open communication with subcontractors; review invoices and change orders.
• Ensure conformity with contract documents and address underperformance issues.
