Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Construction Manager I for our Las Vegas, NV office. This on-site role requires coordinating daily site activities, reviewing submittals, and managing change orders to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 2 years in construction planning/management, plus proficiency with Procore, Prolog, Primavera, and Bluebeam. Local candidates preferred; sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction planning and management, including field engineering, submittals, estimating, scheduling, and site safety.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Prolog, Primavera, Bluebeam, etc.
• Active participation in our employee-owned culture is a must.
• Sponsorship (visa) for US employment is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate daily records of construction site activity and produce reports on progress, safety, quality, permit compliance, schedule and budget status.
• Review construction submittals including shop drawings and pay applications
• Prepare, issue and negotiate Change Orders
• Review and analyze baseline and updated construction schedules
• Coordinate with Owner, Engineer, and Contractor
• Work individually or support more-senior staff on larger, complex projects
• HDR's Drug and Alcohol Policy compliance and pre-hire drug-screen requirements may apply
