ARCO/Murray National Construction in Lakewood, CO, seeks a Project Manager to drive project performance from day one. You will manage estimating, scheduling, safety, progress reporting, design review and coordination, cost reporting, and client communications on design-build initiatives.

Ideal candidates are engineering students ready for full-time post-grad work, with a 3.0 GPA or higher and any prior construction internship experience.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s of Engineering program.
• Open to fulltime opportunity post grad.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.
• Prior construction internship experience is a plus.
• Extracurricular involvement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage managerial and administrative aspects of a project, including estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation.
• Ensure an accurate and complete project estimate.
• Work with owners and design team to develop preliminary concept drawings.
• Participate in proposal meetings to review scope, reduce costs, and provide value engineering ideas.
• Oversee the buyout process and subcontractor selection.
• Conduct bi-weekly job site meetings.
• Make sound decisions under tight deadlines.
• Organize, plan and manage multiple activities to achieve results.
• Commit to quality by evaluating project processes and meeting client expectations.
