Job summary

CBI Construction is seeking a senior Project Manager to lead the Project Management team, working closely with Preconstruction and Field Operations to meet safety, quality, scheduling, and budgeting goals on projects nationwide.

You will own budgets, subcontracts, and schedules, report to the Senior Project Manager, and coordinate with Capstone’s development team on product design and value engineering opportunities for multifamily housing projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in construction management from preconstruction through close-out.
• Strong understanding of coordination across design disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Own project budgets, scopes of work, subcontracts, schedules, and client reporting.
• Collaborate with Preconstruction, Senior PM, and design teams on cost efficiency and value engineering.
• Review plans to determine requirements and provide takeoffs when needed.
• Develop and track a project schedule that aligns with ownership objectives.
• Negotiate trade labor and materials with Preconstruction; manage buyout.
• Maintain detailed weekly project budgets and issue logs.
• Prepare and execute subcontracts and purchase orders; review invoices and change orders.
