Metric Geo is partnering with a rapidly expanding AI infrastructure leader to deliver a major data center construction program across the US. You will own planning, scheduling, budgeting and execution from mobilization through commissioning and turnover, coordinating design, procurement and field teams to meet aggressive timelines.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering major fast-track construction projects.
• Strong understanding of CSA and MEP construction, project controls, procurement, cost management and scheduling.
• PMP and construction management qualifications are a plus.

I'm partnering with one of the fastest-growing companies in the AI infrastructure and data center market as they undertake a major expansion of their US construction organization.

They're delivering an enormous pipeline of high-density, mission-critical data center projects and are looking for experienced Project Managers to take ownership of project delivery across the US.

These are complex, fast-track projects with huge power requirements, aggressive schedules and very little room for delay.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of the planning, commercial management, scheduling and execution of a major data center construction project from mobilization through commissioning and final turnover.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Owning the master project schedule across design, procurement, construction and commissioning
• Developing and driving schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project
• Managing project budgets, cash flow, forecasting and change orders
• Tracking progress, earned value and critical-path activities
• Identifying and mitigating long-lead procurement risks around switchgear, transformers, chillers and other critical equipment
• Managing RFPs, bid analysis, contract awards and closeout
• Coordinating Civil, Structural, Architectural, Mechanical and Electrical scopes
• Driving design reviews, phase gates and project risk management
• Working closely with Construction Managers, Superintendents, Design, Procurement and Commissioning teams
• Providing clear project reporting to senior leadership and external partners
• Driving the project from initial execution through substantial completion, commissioning and customer handover

What We're Looking For

We’re interested in Project Managers who have delivered major, fast-track construction projects within:

• Advanced Manufacturing / Semiconductor

You’ll need a strong understanding of CSA and MEP construction, project controls, procurement, cost management and scheduling.

Experience with Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore, Excel and similar project controls platforms is highly valuable. PMP, construction management qualifications and experience delivering projects across multiple regions are also a plus.

This position requires Monday–Friday travel to your assigned project site.

Current projects are located across Texas, Louisiana, Indiana and New York, with travel booked and paid for by the company. You can be based elsewhere in the US, but you must be genuinely comfortable with significant weekly travel.
