Job summary

Metric Geo seeks an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead field execution on major data center projects across the US, including New York. You will drive daily operations, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure safety and quality on site.

Ideal candidates have a track record delivering complex, MEP‑intense builds, can push schedules, and collaborate with commissioning teams to achieve fast, reliable handovers. Travel will be required.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day field execution on major data center projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors and sequence multiple trades.
• Drive daily production against aggressive project schedules.
• Walk the site continuously and remove blockers before they impact crews.
• Manage RFIs, materials, access and inspections from the field.
• Maintain rigorous safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate across MEP, CSA and critical infrastructure packages.
• Work with commissioning teams to ensure proper sequence for startup.
• Drive punch list, completion and turnover through to final handover.

Job description

I'm partnering with one of the fastest-growing companies in the AI infrastructure and data center market as they build out their construction team across the US.

They're delivering an enormous pipeline of high-density, mission-critical data center projects and are looking for experienced Construction Superintendents to take ownership of field execution.

These are major, technically complex projects where speed, quality and execution matter.

The Role

You'll be the boots-on-the-ground construction leader, responsible for driving daily field operations and keeping the project moving, you'll:

• Run day-to-day field execution on major data center projects
• Coordinate subcontractors and sequence multiple trades
• Drive daily production against aggressive project schedules
• Walk the site continuously and remove blockers before they impact crews
• Manage RFIs, materials, access and inspections from the field
• Maintain rigorous safety and quality standards
• Coordinate heavily across MEP, CSA and critical infrastructure packages
• Work closely with commissioning teams to ensure systems are completed in the correct sequence for startup
• Drive punch list, completion and turnover through to final handover

What We're Looking For

We're looking for experienced field leaders who have successfully delivered complex projects within:

• Heavy Industrial
• Advanced Manufacturing / Semiconductor
• Other technically complex, MEP-intensive construction

You'll need to be someone who understands construction sequencing instinctively, can command a jobsite, builds credibility with both trades and project leadership, and knows how to keep an aggressive schedule moving.

Experience with data center MEP systems, modular construction, commissioning and turnover is highly desirable.

Current projects include locations across Texas, Louisiana, Indiana and New York.
