Job summary

Jobot in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking a Project Manager in construction to oversee project controls including costs, scheduling, safety, quality, and documentation. You will review project proposals, determine required processes, materials, labor, and timeframes to drive successful outcomes.

You’ll also complete material takeoffs, evaluate vendors, manage purchasing, and track submittals, RFIs, and change orders while maintaining strong client and team relations and traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field; at least 3 years project management experience.
• Experience with aluminum and glass suppliers; strong industry relationships.
• Proficient in project management, estimating, and spreadsheet software.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability for regular business travel.

What you’ll do:

What you’ll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, or related field, with at least 3 years project management experience
• industry or equivalent training and work experience
• In depth experience with aluminum and glass suppliers and strong business relationships with area contractors is preferred
• Proficient mathematical ability to calculate various figures and amounts, and apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
• Experience using project management, estimating and spreadsheet software
• Excellent interpersonal skills and creative problem solving
• Strong written communication skills including writing reports and business correspondence
• A valid driver’s license and acceptable insurability for regular business travel
• Physical ability to work in both an office and construction environment
