Job summary

Jobot, a leading Midwest glass and glazing contractor, seeks a Project Controls Manager in Cedar Rapids to oversee costs, schedules, safety, quality and documentation for complex projects. This role requires coordinating proposals, processes, materials, labor and timeframes with vendors and internal teams.

Ideal candidates have a construction management degree, 3+ years of PM experience, and strong math, communication, and spreadsheet/estimating software skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field and at least 3 years of project management experience.
• Industry or equivalent training and work experience.
• In-depth experience with aluminum and glass suppliers and strong business relationships with area contractors.
• Proficient mathematical ability to calculate figures and apply algebra/geometry concepts.
• Experience using project management, estimating and spreadsheet software.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and creative problem solving.
• Strong written communication skills including reports and business correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Complete material takeoffs and peer review takeoffs for quality control.

What you’ll do:

What you’ll need to have:
