Base pay range

We’re partnering with a rapidly growing contractor in the road and site development space, hiring an experienced Civil Construction Project Manager to lead multiple projects across both public and private sectors. These jobs range from $550K to $15M and include sitework, utilities, paving, grading, and more. If you're a hands-on leader who knows how to manage crews, budgets, and client expectations — this is a high-impact opportunity with real growth upside.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage full lifecycle of civil construction projects (public & private)
• Oversee project budgets, scheduling, subcontractors, and on-site teams
• Supervise site activities with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity
• Track project progress, adjust schedules, and handle change orders
• Review and manage job costs, documentation, and daily reports
• Coordinate equipment needs, labor resources, and jobsite logistics
• Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and trade partners
• Enforce OSHA compliance and lead a safety-first jobsite culture
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development
• Experience managing civil construction or heavy sitework projects
• Strong understanding of earthwork, utilities, grading, roadwork, and site development
• Skilled in managing subcontractors, job cost tracking, and change orders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, etc.)
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Mgmt or related field preferred (experience strongly considered in lieu)
• Valid Florida driver’s license with a clean MVR
• Able to pass background check and pre-employment screening

This is a local role based in the Tampa area, with all projects within reasonable driving distance. You'll be joining a stable, growth-focused company with a solid pipeline and long-term client relationships in the region.
