Job summary

Red Rock Recruiters is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead Boeing campus projects in Auburn, Redmond or Renton. You’ll manage self-perform teams, subs, and projects from pre-construction to closeout, focusing on safety, schedule, and budgets on industrial, manufacturing, aerospace or data center sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering or related field preferred.
• Experience in Industrial, Aerospace, Manufacturing, or related construction.
• PM leadership directing internal self-perform teams, crews and subs.
• Strong communication skills and client-facing abilities.
• Familiarity with ERP/PM software such as Procore, MS Project, Spectrum.

Responsibilities

• Lead project management for Boeing Auburn, Redmond & Renton campuses.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects, budgets and schedules.
• Chair weekly owner meetings and issue minutes.
• Prepare financial forecasts and owner billings.
• Coordinate vendor RFIs, change orders, subcontracts, and procurement logs.
• Develop site safety plans and oversee pre-construction to closeout.

About The Opportunity – Construction Project Manager

Our client, a recognized PNW Industrial General Contractor with a proven 30+ year history of success, stability, and growth, is adding a new project management team to lead projects for Boeing on their Auburn, Redmond, or Renton campuses.

This PM role requires a strong, experienced, independent, multi-faceted project management professional.

As our newest Project Manager you’ll lead self-perform teams (concrete, structural steel, millwright, etc), subs, and projects. You will drive / monitor daily onsite activity, safety, and success. You’ll manage goals / timelines / budgets / projects, while leading your client and project management team from pre-construction to closeout. Best of all, the work is typically at Boeing facilities so travel is limited.

You’ll bring your passion and experience in Industrial, Manufacturing, Aerospace, Mission Critical, or Data Center construction. This role will involve managing multiple concurrent projects with support from your project team, Project Superintendent, and corporate.

What You’ll Do:

• · Project leadership: Boeing Auburn, Redmond & Renton Campuses
• · Capacity to manage concurrent projects, small & large
• · Chair Weekly Owner Meetings and distribute meeting minutes
• · Prepare and issue the project financial forecasts
• · Track project hours and budgets
• · Prepare and issue the project schedules
• · Prepare and issue the project budget (New Job Info Sheet)
• · Prepare and issue the Owner billings
• · Signature approval of all project related and miscellaneous invoices (in Spectrum)
• · Initiate all project related vendor Requests for Proposal
• · Initiate all project related Change Requests
• · Initiate all project related Owner Vendor Approval Release letters
• · Initiate all project related Vendor subcontracts and major purchase orders
• · Initiate all project related Vendor Modifications
• · Process all project related RFI’s, submittals and substitution requests, and the preparation of the procurement and expediting logs
• · Work with Safety and Field to develop Site Specific Safety Plans
• · Direct responsibility for all aspects of the pre-construction & construction project
• · Coordinate and own the estimating, purchasing, engineering, accounting, construction and quality assurance activities
• · Build an open communication atmosphere
• · Develop “project goals” with team member involvement, define and manage team member roles and responsibilities
• · Review pre-contracts to meet project schedule and needs, ensure consistency between scope of work, drawings, and estimate

To Be Successful, You Should Have:

• · Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering or related field preferred
