Ladders is assisting a client in the Manufacturing & Automotive sector in recruiting a Construction Project Manager. This role oversees multiple projects from planning through completion and coordinates with federal stakeholders, subcontractors, and internal teams to drive execution.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Construction Project Manager to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space.

This role will oversee multiple construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring schedules, budgets, and compliance requirements are met. The position requires close coordination with federal government stakeholders, subcontractors, and internal teams to drive execution and maintain strong client partnerships. In addition, this leader will help develop staff, strengthen team performance, and support successful delivery across complex project environments.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $133,500 – $170,000 annually

Responsibilities
  • Project manage multiple construction projects simultaneously
  • Lead high-performance teams through training and mentoring
  • Develop and manage staff for peak performance
  • Cultivate client relationships as a trusted advisor
  • Administer contract and subcontract agreements
  • Manage project budgets and financial data analysis
  • Ensure project compliance with safety protocols
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of direct project management experience with federal government projects
  • Experience with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and/or Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC)
  • Knowledge of construction budgeting, scheduling, estimating, and engineering principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software
