Job summary

Renewyx partners with a top Bay Area commercial builder to recruit a Project Manager for their San Carlos operation. You will own the commercial and operational delivery of large-scale projects from day one, ensuring excellence across the full lifecycle.

Your day-to-day includes preconstruction input, schedule ownership, subcontractor management, financial control, and maintaining owner relationships that generate repeat business.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a lead Project Manager on K-12/Healthcare/Commercial ground-up construction
• Demonstrable record of delivering projects from $20M and above on time and on budget
• Strong contractual and commercial understanding including change orders, claims, and job cost analysis
• Ability to manage owners, architects, and subcontractors with confidence
• Procore, Primavera P6, or equivalent tools
• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline preferred

Responsibilities

• Own the commercial and operational delivery of Peninsula projects from day one
• Lead full lifecycle: preconstruction input, schedule ownership, subcontractor management, and financial control
• Maintain owner relationships that generate repeat business
• Collaborate with owners, architects, and subcontractors to align goals
• Ensure projects meet scope, budget, and schedule expectations

The opportunity:

This is a full Project Manager seat — not a stepping stone, not a transition role. You will own the commercial and operational delivery of projects across the Peninsula from day one, working within a leadership structure that gives experienced PMs the authority and the resources to do their best work.

Your day-to-day will cover the full lifecycle: preconstruction input, schedule ownership, subcontractor management, financial control, and maintaining the kind of owner relationships that generate repeat business. The projects are substantial. The expectations are high. The compensation reflects both.
