Job summary

Hypertec is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead mission-critical projects across the United States from our Phoenix, AZ office. You will manage the full construction lifecycle, coordinating with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field and at least four years of construction management experience, with regular travel to project sites nationwide.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of construction management, project coordination, or related experience.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to construction project sites throughout the United States with regular onsite presence.
  • Experience supporting construction project scheduling, budgeting, coordination, and execution.
  • Strong understanding of construction regulations, safety standards, permitting requirements, and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Contributing
  • Manage the full construction project lifecycle, from initial project planning phases through completion of construction.
  • Meet with clients, architects, engineers, and other design personnel to establish project plans, budgets, and schedules.
  • Coordinate construction project resources and tracks project progress against established timelines and schedules.
  • Ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and to specification.
  • Act as a liaison between the client and project team members regarding changes or problems.
  • Select, negotiate with, and coordinate the work of vendors, contractors, or sub-contractors.
  • Responsible for material management and delivery scheduling tasks in support of assigned projects.
What Sets You Apart
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of construction management, project coordination, or related construction industry experience required.
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly to construction project sites throughout the United States, with regular onsite presence required.
  • Experience supporting construction project scheduling, budgeting, coordination, and execution.
  • Strong understanding of construction regulations, safety standards, permitting requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Experience coordinating with general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and cross-functional project teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and construction/project management software.
  • Experience with data center, mission-critical, industrial, or large-scale infrastructure construction projects preferred.
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
