Gorman & Company is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager in Oregon, WI to lead multifamily projects from pre-construction through closeout. You will own schedules, budgets, trade coordination, quality, and stakeholder communication while working with diverse teams. Travel approx.

20% of the time. You should have 7–10 years of construction experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field, and strong financial, analytical, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all phases of multifamily projects from pre-construction to closeout.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, logistics, procurement, and occupancy plans.
  • Establish and manage budgets, contracts, and change orders while tracking costs.
  • Lead subcontractor coordination, buyout, and sequencing to resolve issues.
  • Oversee quality, codes, safety, and owner expectations; ensure documentation and reporting.
  • Support Superintendents and project teams; coordinate across departments and stakeholders.

## Construction Project ManagerApply: Oregon, WI: Full time: Posted Today: JR100486Join our team as a Construction Project Manager!Gorman & Company is looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team at our Oregon Corporate Office! In this role, you’ll lead multifamily construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, taking ownership of project schedules, budgets, trade coordination, quality, and stakeholder communication while working closely with Superintendents, subcontractors, architects, consultants, and internal teams. This position will travel throughout the portfolio approximately 20% of the time and offers the opportunity to lead impactful projects that create quality, affordable housing and stronger communities.**What You’ll Do*** Lead all phases of multifamily construction projects, from pre-construction handoff and mobilization through construction, commissioning, turnover, and closeout.* Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, logistics, procurement, and phased occupancy plans while proactively addressing risks and schedule impacts.* Establish and manage project budgets, including GMP and lump-sum contracts, while tracking costs, forecasting variances, managing change orders, and protecting contingency and project fee.* Lead subcontractor and trade coordination, including buyout, contract compliance, manpower planning, sequencing, productivity, and resolution of scope or coordination issues.* Oversee quality control and project compliance, ensuring work meets contract documents, building codes, accessibility standards, safety requirements, and owner expectations.* Manage project documentation and stakeholder communication, including RFIs, submittals, OAC meetings, meeting minutes, project reporting, and coordination with owners, developers, architects, engineers, and consultants.* Lead and support Superintendents, field staff, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Engineers while fostering strong collaboration across construction, accounting, asset management, and executive leadership.**What You’ll Bring*** 7–10 years of construction experience, with strong experience managing large-scale multifamily construction and/or development projects.* Demonstrated experience managing projects from pre-construction through closeout, with a strong understanding of construction scheduling, budgeting, contracts, and field operations.* Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or a related field preferred.* Experience with affordable housing, government funding programs, Section 3, prevailing wage, LIHTC, or other programmatic requirements preferred.* Strong financial and analytical skills, including experience with project budgets, cost forecasting, pay applications, change orders, and cost-to-complete projections.* Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple teams and priorities in a fast-paced environment.* Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Project, along with a valid driver’s license, insurable driving record, and ability to travel throughout the portfolio and overnight as needed.**Why Work With Us at Gorman*** Competitive salary of $100,000–$140,000, based on experience, with an opportunity for a discretionary annual bonus.* 18 days of PTO plus 11.5 paid holidays to support time away from work and the things that matter most.* Comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, company-paid short- and long-term disability, and more.* 401(k) with a 6% company match to help you build toward your financial future.* Paid parental leave and lifestyle spending accounts designed to support you both at work and at home.* Pet insurance, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and additional wellness resources to support your overall well-being.* Opportunities to grow your career and make a lasting impact through meaningful work that helps create quality, affordable housing and stronger communities across the country.If you’re an experienced construction professional looking for the opportunity to lead impactful multifamily projects while working alongside a collaborative, mission-driven team, we’d love to hear from you.
