Job summary

GPAC is partnering with a well-established commercial general contractor seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager in the United States (Wisconsin area). You will lead projects from preconstruction to closeout, manage schedules and budgets, and coordinate a wide range of stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, proactive risk management, and effective communication to build lasting client and team relationships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
• Strong scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and contract administration knowledge.
• Experience leading cross-functional project teams and managing client relationships.
• Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Develop and manage schedules, budgets, and overall execution.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and consultants.
• Facilitate meetings and provide updates to clients and stakeholders.
• Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Identify and resolve risks, scheduling issues, and challenges.
• Manage financials, forecasting, cost controls, and change orders.
• Ensure projects are on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards.
• Build lasting relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
