Job summary

Tidewater Restoration seeks an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee residential and commercial construction from pre-construction planning through final completion, owning the schedule, budget, quality, and customer experience while coordinating crews and subcontractors.

The right candidate has hands-on PM experience and can coordinate multiple trades. Restoration experience is a plus, but the focus is delivering construction work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • At least three years of project management experience in construction or related fields.
  • Experience managing multiple active projects, schedules, and budgets.
  • Knowledge of construction methods, building codes, permitting, inspections, and jobsite safety.
  • Ability to read and manage scopes of work, estimates, plans, and change orders.
  • Strong communication, leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

  • Manage construction and reconstruction projects from planning to closeout.
  • Review scopes, estimates, budgets, and site conditions before work begins.
  • Build and maintain project schedules; coordinate crews, subcontractors, and materials.
  • Monitor costs to protect profitability and prepare change orders as needed.
  • Coordinate permitting, inspections, and required corrections.
  • Inspect work for quality, safety, and compliance with scope.
  • Keep customers informed about progress and schedule changes.
  • Maintain field notes and documentation for billing and closeout.
  • Resolve punch lists and help deliver a complete final product.
  • Participate in rotating after-hours on-call schedule.

Tidewater Restoration Is Hiring: Construction Project Manager
Location: Melbourne, Florida
Annual Earning Potential: $65,000–$120,000
Standard Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
On-Call Requirement: Participation in a rotating after-hours on-call schedule is required.

Tidewater Restoration is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee residential and commercial construction and reconstruction projects from pre-construction planning through final completion. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of a project’s schedule, budget, quality, and customer experience while keeping crews and subcontractors moving.

The right candidate has hands‑on experience managing construction projects and is comfortable coordinating multiple trades. Restoration experience is a plus, but the focus of this role is delivering construction work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage assigned construction and reconstruction projects from planning and mobilization through final walkthrough, billing readiness, and closeout.
  • Review approved scopes, estimates, budgets, site conditions, and project requirements before work begins.
  • Build and maintain project schedules; coordinate crews, subcontractors, materials, equipment, and site access.
  • Monitor labor, material, and subcontractor costs to protect project profitability.
  • Identify scope gaps and changes, prepare change orders, and obtain approvals before additional work proceeds.
  • Coordinate permitting and inspections with the appropriate team members and address required corrections.
  • Inspect work for quality, safety, and compliance with the approved scope and applicable requirements.
  • Keep customers informed about progress, schedule changes, and decisions needed to move the project forward.
  • Maintain accurate field notes, photos, approvals, and other project documentation needed for billing and closeout.
  • Resolve punch list items and help deliver a complete, professional final product.
  • Participate in the rotating after-hours on-call schedule and help coordinate assigned emergency work when needed.
Qualifications
  • At least three years of project management experience in construction, reconstruction, general contracting, remodeling, or a related field.
  • Experience managing multiple active projects, subcontractors, schedules, and budgets.
  • Working knowledge of construction methods, building codes, permitting, inspections, and jobsite safety.
  • Ability to read and manage scopes of work, estimates, plans, and change orders.
  • Strong communication, leadership, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficiency with job management or project management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to visit active jobsites and safely operate a company truck and trailer.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to successfully pass a pre‑employment drug screening and background check.
Preferred Experience
  • Restoration or insurance‑related reconstruction experience.
  • Familiarity with water damage mitigation, fire restoration, mold remediation, or IICRC standards.
  • Experience with Albi, ServiceTitan, or similar job management platforms.
Compensation and Benefits
  • $65,000–$120,000 annual earning potential, based on salary, performance bonuses, and additional on-call earnings
