Job summary

ServiceMaster Restoration of Wilmington is seeking an experienced Construction Manager / Restoration Project Manager to oversee residential and commercial reconstruction projects from planning through completion. This hands-on leadership role requires coordinating multiple projects, guiding crews and subcontractors, and ensuring schedules and budgets are met.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction management, reconstruction, project management, or construction supervision.
• Experience with insurance restoration, disaster recovery, residential construction, or commercial construction preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and subcontractor management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, scopes of work, and construction specifications.
• Working knowledge of OSHA requirements and construction safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction and restoration projects from pre-construction through final closeout.
• Oversee daily jobsite operations, subcontractors, crews, and vendors.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and budgets.
• Monitor costs, approve change orders, and track project profitability.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, applicable building codes, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, inspectors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Conduct jobsite meetings, inspections, and project progress reviews.
• Identify and resolve field issues proactively to keep projects moving and on schedule.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, labor, and multiple trades for restoration and reconstruction projects.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and communicate project status to appropriate stakeholders.

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager / Restoration Project Manager to oversee residential and commercial reconstruction projects from planning through completion.

This is a hands-on leadership position for an experienced construction professional who can manage multiple projects, lead subcontractors and crews, control costs, maintain schedules, and take ownership of results.
