Golden ADU is a fast-growing construction company specializing in building Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) across Southern California. We pride ourselves on making the process of building a backyard home simple, transparent, and smooth for homeowners. As we grow, we’re looking for a reliable, experienced, and bilingual field operator to join our mission.

About the Role

This is a 100% on-site, field-based position — not an office job. You’ll oversee construction sites, ensure project timelines and budgets are followed, and act as the main point of contact between our team, subcontractors, and homeowners. You must be comfortable being on the road, visiting multiple job sites weekly, and managing the day-to-day realities of residential construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage active construction job sites across the Los Angeles area
• Read and interpret construction plans and identify potential issues early
• Track project progress and ensure alignment with budget and timelines
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and city inspectors
• Communicate with homeowners, providing regular updates and peace of mind
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance on each site
• Take and organize site photos, notes, and short videos for project tracking
• Full construction experience — residential project experience required
• Bilingual in Spanish and English
• Proven ability to manage fieldwork, timelines, and job budgets
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to read and understand architectural and construction plans
• Comfortable working independently and making site-level decisions
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license — must travel between sites
• Experience with permitting and city inspections
• Familiar with project management tools like Trello, Google Drive, or Slack
• Located in the San Fernando Valley or central LA
