Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager in Honolulu, Hawaii to oversee complex projects from inception to completion. You will lead on-site and off-site construction activities, ensuring safety, quality, and budget adherence, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in construction management, at least 5 years of experience, and is adept at navigating contracts, permits, and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on commercial and ground-up projects.
• Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
• Understanding of all facets of the construction process.
• Familiarity with construction and project management software programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
• Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
• Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
• Meet contractual conditions of performance.
• Review the work progress on a daily basis.
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
• Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses.
• Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
• Manage the budget, ensuring that all financial aspects of the project are on track.
• Lead and manage the project team, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.
