Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team in a heavy civil setting. You will oversee planning, coordination, and execution of multiple construction projects focused on mass excavation, underground utilities, drainage and paving, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with top-quality results.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in construction project management, specifically in heavy civil construction projects.
  • Proven experience in managing on of the following: Mass Excavation, Underground Utilities, Drainage, Geotechnical Construction, Paving, bridge construction, and structures.
  • Strong knowledge of civil infrastructure and construction best practices, codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software and other relevant computer applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
  • A professional certification in Project Management would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing all aspects of construction project management, including planning, coordination, and execution.

  • Projects may include self-performing forces of Mass Excavation, Underground Utilities, Drainage, Geotechnical Construction, and Paving operations.

  • Coordinating with engineers, architects, contractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Preparing project reports and updates for senior management and clients.
  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues that could impact project timelines or budgets.
  • Leading and motivating project teams to ensure high levels of performance and productivity.
