POSITION SUMMARY
Fading West is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and solutions-driven Project Manager to oversee primarily modular construction projects from preconstruction through final delivery. This role is responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, maintaining project schedules, managing timelines and budgets, supporting process improvement initiatives, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. This position will be managing on-site construction projects located in the Colorado mountain region.
· Manage multiple modular construction projects from preconstruction through completion.
· Participate in construction sales calls and project pursuits
· Coordinate timelines between various stakeholders to include but not limited to owners/reps, architects/engineering, purchasing, production, logistics, and field operations.
· Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure production milestones and delivery deadlines are met.
· Track project progress and proactively identify risks, delays, or bottlenecks.
· Lead project meetings and provide status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
· Serve as the primary communication link between departments involved in project execution.
· Collaborate with internal factory teams, subcontractors, and local municipalities
· Monitor construction schedules and ensure alignment with customer commitments and operational capacity.
· Ensure projects meet company quality standards and customer specifications.
· Maintain accurate project tracking reports, schedules, and documentation.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related field preferred. Experience in lieu of a degree will be evaluated.
· 3+ years of construction project management, preconstruction, modular building, or related experience preferred.
· 3+ years of experience running projects ranging from $1M to $15M.
· Experience in manufacturing,
· Residential construction, modular housing, or commercial construction is strongly preferred.
· Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
The Ideal Candidate...
· Understanding of construction workflows and project scheduling.
· Knowledge of both IRC and IBC construction types is preferred
· The ability to obtain a passing score on the Class A or B ICC General Contractors Exam.
· Ability to interpret plans, specifications, schedules, and production documentation.
