POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day field operations of commercial and multifamily construction projects from mobilization through completion. The Superintendent is responsible for maintaining project schedules, ensuring quality workmanship, enforcing safety standards, coordinating subcontractors, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities
Manage all onsite construction activities from groundbreaking through project closeout.
Develop and maintain the project schedule in coordination with the Project Manager.
Coordinate all subcontractor activities and sequencing.
Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, building codes, and contract requirements.
Identify potential schedule conflicts and proactively develop solutions.
Conduct daily site inspections and monitor work quality.
Coordinate material deliveries and equipment logistics .
Maintain a safe job site in compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
Conduct daily safety observations and weekly safety meetings.
Ensure subcontractor compliance with all safety requirements.
Investigate and document accidents and near misses.
Maintain required safety documentation.
Perform ongoing quality inspections.
Ensure workmanship meets company standards and contract documents.
Coordinate testing and inspections.
Complete punch lists and verify corrective work.
Manage project turnover and closeout documentation.
Develop and maintain three-week look-ahead schedules.
Lead pull-planning and trade coordination meetings.
Monitor critical path activities and proactively develop recovery plans.
Coordinate inspections, material procurement, and trade sequencing to maintain milestone commitments.
Drive schedule performance through accountability and proactive field leadership.
Direct and coordinate subcontractors onsite.
Resolve field conflicts quickly and professionally.
Work closely with the Project Manager and project team.
Maintain daily reports.
Document weather, manpower , deliveries, inspections, delays, and significant events .
Attend owner, architect, and subcontractor meetings.
Coordinate with local building officials and inspectors.
Maintain accurate project records.
Complete daily reports.
Document field changes and RFIs.
Assist with as-built drawings.
Coordinate project closeout documentation.
Establish and maintain a culture of safety, accountability, professionalism, and teamwork.
Lead subcontractors and project stakeholders with clear expectations and consistent communication.
Mentor assistant superintendents, field engineers, and emerging field leaders.
Hold subcontractors accountable for ma npower , schedule commitments, quality, and safety performance.

Qualifications
5-7 years of superintendent experience on commercial or multifamily construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, plans, specifications, building codes, and OSHA safety standards.
Proven ability to lead subcontractors, coordinate schedules, resolve field issues, and communicate clearly with project stakeholders.
Comfortable using Microsoft 365, Procore, Bluebeam, scheduling tools, and mobile field reporting platforms.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.
Ability to walk active construction sites for extended periods.
Climb ladders and stairs.
Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Ability to wear required PPE.
Preferred
Experience with modular construction, IRC/IBC residential construction, or projects valued at $5M-$20M.
OSHA 30 and CPR/First Aid certifications preferred.
