The Project Manager’s role is to oversee, plan, schedule, manage and track the progress of projects in an efficient and timely manner that meets Lantz quality standards and customer requirements. Key functions include assuming responsibility for projects, effectively communicating throughout the project, proactively managing resources and ensuring the project budget is on target.
Required Skills, Education and Experience
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles
- Ability to maintain attention to detail and work accurately and neatly
- Knowledge of construction methods
- Understanding of construction planning, scheduling and progress tracking
- 5+ years of commercial project management and any amount of applicable construction field experience
- Ability to determine potential risks while devising proactive ways to reduce them
- Excellent budgeting of financial resources
- Competent in various computer applications (e.g., MS Suite, MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam)
- Ability to lead a team by being an effective communicator
- Excellent in building rapport and creating a team environment where all project responsibilities work well together
- Ability to maintain a high level of organization
- Ability to welcome feedback and use it to improve the quality of production
Preferred Skills, Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business Management or related field of study
