Job summary

W3Global in Cincinnati seeks a motivated and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial projects from pre-construction through completion. You will coordinate clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, while managing budgets, schedules, and quality standards to ensure successful project delivery.

The ideal candidate will have strong project management, client relations, subcontractor coordination, budgeting, and scheduling experience in commercial construction

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of construction/project management experience.
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
  • Ability to manage budgets, schedules, contracts, and project documentation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.

Responsibilities

  • Manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Review plans, specifications, contracts, and project documents for constructability and budget requirements.
  • Coordinate design and construction with owners, architects, and engineers.
  • Review subcontractor bids, negotiate pricing, and manage contracts and subcontracts.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and monitor progress.
  • Track project costs, budgets, change orders, and financial performance.
  • Prepare regular project updates and reports covering costs, schedules, and progress.
  • Identify potential risks, delays, and cost issues and develop solutions proactively.
  • Coordinate consultants and subcontractors to resolve construction issues.
  • Ensure projects comply with building codes, safety requirements, and quality standards.
  • Maintain high standards of quality, communication, and client satisfaction.

Job Overview

  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Project.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to following projects through completion.
  • Knowledge of construction, engineering, and architectural principles.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with retail, restaurant, multifamily, medical, office, or build-to-suit projects.
  • Experience with construction management software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
  • First Aid/CPR certification.
