Base pay range

$120,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager with a proven track record in leading construction projects, specifically in the commercial sector. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of project leadership experience and possess a strong ability to manage multiple aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Coordination:
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
    • Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
    • Ensure compliance with all local building codes, safety regulations, and contractual requirements.
  2. Team Leadership and Management:
    • Lead and manage project teams, including subcontractors and site personnel.
    • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, ensuring clear communication and alignment across all parties.
    • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
  3. Budget and Financial Oversight:
    • Prepare and manage project budgets, including monitoring costs and mitigating risks.
    • Approve invoices, purchase orders, and other financial documents related to the project.
    • Conduct regular financial reviews to ensure projects remain within budget.
  4. Quality and Safety Assurance:
    • Oversee quality control processes to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.
    • Enforce safety protocols and promote a culture of safety on job sites.
  5. Reporting and Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, schedules, and change orders.
    • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project milestones, risks, and performance metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of project leadership experience in the construction industry, with a focus on commercial projects.
  • Proven ability to manage projects from conception to completion, with a strong track record of delivering on time and within budget.
  • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera, or similar).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes, materials, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills and Certifications:

  • Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or CCM (Certified Construction Manager) are highly desirable.
