Base pay range

$145,000.00/yr - $210,000.00/yr

Manage a team of project managers to assist in meeting goals, maintaining budgets, and high customer satisfaction.

My client is a national General Contractor with an annual revenue of around $1.3Bn and a reputation for building large-scale complex projects. They are currently on the market for a strong Senior Project Manager who has previous experience within Residential or Commercial construction. This opportunity offers immense potential for career growth, as you'll play a key role in supporting the company's continued expansion. The firm is known for partnering with top-tier clients throughout the nation and delivering exceptional projects in their field.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate and collaborate effectively at all levels.

  • Expert in negotiating business and legal terms of construction contracts.

  • Demonstrated experience managing commercial projects, including office, tenant improvements, and large public sector initiatives.
  • Natural leadership abilities to guide multiple project teams, overseeing up to 10 personnel, including project managers, field/project engineers, and project assistants.
  • Holds a four-year degree in construction management or construction engineering.
  • Proven track record of leading teams to success and profitability.
  • At least 10 years of project management experience, handling contract values ranging from $10 million to $100 million.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Establishes and nurtures relationships with potential customers, quickly building a strong network.
  • Plays a vital role in building and maintaining customer relationships.
  • Skillfully negotiates the business and legal terms of construction contracts.
  • Consistently meets customer satisfaction goals, creating loyal and enthusiastic clients.
  • Delivers high-quality, well-designed, and profitable projects, meeting or exceeding expectations.
  • Achieves financial targets for the team.
  • Ensures timely and effective management of the team’s accounts receivables.
  • Resolves warranty issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Completes general administrative tasks accurately and on time.
  • Participates in or leads presentations and negotiations with owners and clients.
  • Oversees design development, budget planning, and project scheduling.
  • Supervises a team of Project Engineers, Senior Project Engineers, Project Managers I & II, and Project Assistants as needed.
  • Leads the development of procurement strategies, including bid preparation, negotiation, and subcontract awarding.
  • Ensures project closeout activities are completed in accordance with company standards and timelines.
