Job summary

Cupertino Electric, Inc. invites students to apply for the Project/Construction Management Internship for Summer 2027. The program offers exposure to Commercial, Data Center, and Energy & Renewables markets with hands-on experience on real projects.

Participants will support bid, budgeting, scheduling, and procurement activities, working under a project manager on a cross-functional team. This 10–12 week program develops careers in construction management across CEI projects nationwide.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current student studying Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or similar preferred.
• 0 years of experience required.
• Authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Estimate Phase: creating a bid strategy, getting quotations, and writing proposal letters.
• Pre-Construction: negotiating contract terms, creating an original budget and schedule, coordinating with production team.
• Construction: managing materials, submittals, change orders, cost and safety tracking.
• Closeout: managing closeout documents and commissioning equipment.
