Job summary

Cupertino Electric, Inc. (CEI) invites qualified students to join its 2027 Summer Internship Program as a Project / Construction Management Intern. The 10–12 week program exposes undergraduates and graduates to CEI’s Commercial, Data Center, and Energy & Renewables markets across multiple U.S.

locations, including Indiana. Interns participate in estimating, pre-construction planning, construction administration, and closeout activities under a project manager or project executive.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Current student studying Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or similar is preferred.
• Experience: 0 years of experience required.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Estimate Phase: Creating a bid strategy, getting quotations, and writing proposal letters.
• Pre-Construction: Negotiating contract terms, creating an original budget and schedule, coordinating with production team.
• Construction: Managing materials, submittals, and change orders; cost and safety tracking.
• Closeout: Managing closeout documents and commissioning equipment.
