Northwest Cascade's, a civil construction leader, seeks a Project Management Intern to support project managers on heavy construction projects in Washington. The role offers hands-on learning in planning, estimating, and scheduling with potential for advancement.

You will assist in planning, organizing, and coordinating activities, performing take-offs, and preparing submittals while ensuring safety and quality. The internship emphasizes growth in a small, relaxed office environment.

Qualifications

• Student in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• Outstanding work ethic and desire to learn.
• General understanding of the heavy construction industry including planning, design and scheduling concepts.
• Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Programs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and coordinate construction projects efficiently.
• Perform project take-offs and prepare submittals.
• Accurately estimate public and private work projects.
• Solicit subcontractor and supplier information and pricing.
• Ensure proper scheduling and coordination of resources.
• Interface with customers to meet quality expectations.
• Assist in estimating new projects.
