NWU is offering a paid 12-week summer internship in Salem, OR. You will support engineers and project managers with documentation, QA, and coordination on active projects. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and hands-on learning in construction management.

The program includes site walks, meetings, and exposure to project scheduling and trade coordination, with opportunities to present a final showcase of your contributions and learnings.

Formación

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a construction management or related degree.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Support Project Engineers and Project Managers with RFIs, submittals, drawings, and project documentation
• Coordinate with Superintendents to understand daily jobsite operations and trade partner sequencing
• Participate in jobsite walks, meetings, safety reviews, and planning sessions
• Assist with tracking project schedules, upcoming activities, and construction progress
• Review drawings and specifications to understand project scope and details
• Document jobsite progress with photos and field reports using PM tools
• Assist with quality control and punch-list activities
• Contribute to safety procedures and maintain an organized jobsite
• Communicate and collaborate with trade partners effectively
• Learn construction technology and Procore software
• Participate in intern programs, department intro sessions, volunteer opportunities, and team events
• Present a final presentation highlighting your experience and takeaways from the summer
