Job summary

Northwest Cascade is seeking a Project Management Intern to support Project Managers in planning, organizing, and coordinating heavy construction projects. The role includes take-offs, submittals, estimating, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring safety standards and timelines are met.

The intern will gain exposure to pre-construction activities, scheduling, budgeting, and client coordination, with opportunities for advancement in a small-office, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Outstanding work ethic and desire to learn.
• Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers in performance of duties.
• Plan, organize and coordinate construction projects.
• Perform project take-offs and prepare project submittals.
• Accurately estimate public and private work projects; solicit subcontractor pricing.
• Ensure scheduling and coordination of resources and subcontractor activities.
• Review project specs for compliance; interface with customers to meet quality expectations.
• Assist in estimating new projects and maintain safety standards.
