NWU in Grand Rapids, MI seeks a motivated internship candidate to support project managers and field teams with documentation, scheduling, and daily coordination on active construction projects.

You will review drawings, track progress through daily logs and material deliveries, and assist in RFIs and submittals while contributing to on-site safety and supplier coordination. This paid internship offers learning opportunities across procurement, logistics, and project administration.

Formación

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction management or civil engineering.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to lead by example.
• Proactive problem-solving and self-starter mentality.
• Willingness to learn new software and adapt to technology.
• Ability to work full-time.
• High EQ and rapport-building with diverse people.
• Familiarity with construction management software like ProCore, ViewPoint, or MS Project.

Responsabilidades

• Support project managers and field teams with documentation, scheduling, and daily coordination.
• Review drawings and specifications for alignment with goals and standards.
• Track progress including daily logs, materials, and work completed.
• Participate in on-site meetings to observe problem-solving and decisions.
• Assist in preparing RFIs and submittals to meet milestones.
• Help maintain safety by observing on-site conditions and reporting.
• Engage with subcontractors and suppliers to support procurement and logistics.
